We have amazing people that are doing amazing things around the world.
Elise Paty began her first term as a missionary to Cambodia in March 2017. After graduating from Biola University in 2010, Elise served in Cambodia for two years. God opened her heart to the people there and to His deep compassion for Cambodia. Following her return to the U.S. in 2012, she continued to sense God’s calling to return to Cambodia. She soon joined the EFC Southwest Mission Board, and continued to be involved in her home church, Granada Heights Friends.
Elise completed her first term, focusing on learning the Khmer language and culture. She will continue in her second term in Steung Treng, a province in Northeast Cambodia teaching young leaders.
Scott and Andrea Sward have been serving as missionaries in Cambodia since September 2009. Prior to moving to Cambodia, they spent nine years ministering to Cambodian-Americans in Long Beach, CA as members of Long Beach Friends Church.
The Swards recently moved to Steung Treng, a province in Northeast Cambodia where they will focus on training leaders, reaching the unreached (less than 2% of Cambodians profess Jesus Christ as Lord), and developing Christian materials in Khmer.
Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel. –Eph. 6:19
